Les Miserables Show Returning to Broadway 2014

For the Les Miserables lovers, here is some great news! The brilliant show is all set to mark its return to Broadway almost after a decade. After the recent rocking success of the brilliant Tom Hooper’s movie, there has been some interesting announcement by the producer Cameron Mackintosh. He has made announcement that to celebrate the silver jubilee production of Les Mis, the show will open at the New York in the year 2014.


Queens Theatre London is already enjoying the blockbuster success of brilliant London show Les Miserables. Theatre lovers are wooing back to the theatres again and again to feel the magic of this superb show. Mackintosh has not yet declared the name of the venue and date. But, it has declared that theatre which is run by Shubert Organisation might run the blockbuster show, Les Miserables.



The Westend production at Queens Theatre London is still going strong, whereas in the year 2003, Les Miserables completed its 16 years on Broadway. Les Miserables Tickets are hard to find in London Westend, as they are simply vanishing from the theatres. Most of the weekend shows are pre booked and completely sold out.


To make things more enjoyable for the viewers, theatre is offering discounted Les Miserables Tickets during the weekdays. Macintosh is all set to enjoy the worldwide success of Oscar nominated movie Les Miserables which has earned more than $400m.


On the other hand, the magnificent show is making US tour since the year 2010. However, the London show Les Mis sales considerably increased after the release of movie. The coincidental release of Washington in December along with America led to the gross earning of $3.5m, whereas westend production has also marked 20%increment. 2013 Cast of Les Misrables, London show

Vicky Entwistle is playing the role of ‘‘Madame Thénardier’ who is known for playing in ITV’s soap opera - Coronation Street as ‘Janice Battersby’.Queens Theatre London

Role of ‘Murius’ is playing by Jamie Ward who has worked in ‘Antony and Cleopatra’ with Cate Blanchett under Sydney Theatre Company. In addition, Jamie has also worked as ‘Young Zhivago’ in “Doctor Zhivago” played in Lyric Theatre, Sydney.


Role of ‘Enjolras’ is portraying by CHRISTOPHER JACOBSEN. He has worked in Les Miserables earlier as well. He played ‘Jean Valjean’ in the New 25th Anniversary Production of LES MISÉRABLES on tour and has recently performed as ‘Jean Valjean’ at the Queen’s Theatre.Get the seating info right at the time of booking.
